UNSOLVED: Triple Homicide: Monica Pritchett Rollins and Dalton Rollins

On Monday Sept. 16, 2002, Monica Pritchett Rollins (23) and her son, Dalton Rollins (6), were found stabbed to death in their home in Heflin, AL by a relative. At the time of the murder, Monica was 36 weeks pregnant. The baby was also killed in the attack. There were no signs of forced entry, causing investigators to believe the family may have known their attacker.

Monica's other son, Aaron Rollins (2) had also been in the residence at the time, and was found unharmed.

The last update in the case came in 2015 when the cold case unit of the state attorney general's office announced they had joined in on the efforts to solve the case. It was hinted on March 15th, that they were looking into something they had known about since 2002. Nothing further has been announced.
