On March 12, 1978, Pauline Robbin Burgett of Phoenix, AZ, was found dead in her bedroom. She had been found by her younger brother, and mother, who had just gotten home from a weekend away.
She had been seen by friends the day prior up until 5pm.
Pauline had been sexually assaulted before being stabbed to death. The brutal nature of her murder caused detectives to believe that she knew her killer(s). They also believe that there were at least 2 people present at the time of the attack.
Police has DNA on file in her case, but have been unable to match it to a source as of yet.
