UNSOLVED: HOMICIDE: DELMAR, DELAWARE

On November 19th, 1966 just after midnight, Lanetta R. Mills, 26, was murdered by 3 masked robbers who broke into her mobile home in Delmar.

She shared the home with her boyfriend and 4 children. She had been lying in bed with her 16-month-old son when she was shot. Her infant was unharmed.

Lanetta was 2 months pregnant at the time, making this a double homicide.

This incident was one of 7 home invasions in only 2 months. 3 of these home invasions ended in death. Police were unable to determine if any of these events were related.
